Don't be surprised by many a boat, lying on dry ground -

life on the coast is shaped by the tides, there are differences between high and low tide of up to 10 metres on occasion.

Harbour towns such as Roscoff or Paimpol with their beautiful off-shore islands Ile de Batz and Ile de Bréhat

tempt you to take a boat trip and to discover - or to buy

freshly-caught fish directly from the fishing boat.

to hike and to enjoy being close to nature,
